Fathers Day

Let's talk Fathers Day. First i have to say i have a great Dad and i am so thankful for him!

I'm also so thankful for Hailey's wonderful Daddy! He has been the best Dad from day 1 as you can tell instant Daddy daughter bond!
Hailey loves him so much and is always so excited to give him a hug when he comes home from work everyday! She is so lucky to have a Daddy that loves and cares for her so much!

For Fathers Day i searched Pinterest for the freebies and scored some nice ones!
Like this Banner!

This cute little letter - which Hailey answered all the questions for. It still cracks me up every time i read it!

This sticker!

And who could forget the Hero Supply Company?
Love it!
(And so did Daddy)

Turning 3

Hailey turned 3 and i still can't believe it! We kept it really low key, but i still made it feel like a special day for her i love that at this age the littlest things make her so happy!!

Started off by taping crepe paper in front of her door before she woke up - which she ended up waking up 2 seconds after i finished!
Next i asked her what she wanted for breakfast and she told me Salad! ummm lets do something a little more special, her second choice was waffles.
She was also SO excited to have lots of balloons to play with, who would of guessed that balloons could keep her busy for so long?!

Later that morning we went with our neighbor to her Favorite place ever, the Children's museum and we spent a couple hours there - let's just say she was in heaven!

That afternoon we took it easy played games, read stories, a craft or two etc.
For dinner she requested "skillet" which I'll post a recipe for later.

Then it was time to party it up!
Our neighbors came over to help us celebrate, like i said it was small and totally laid back -but it was nice.

Check out the decorations i made!
Thanks to pinterest for the inspiration!

We let her choose her own cake and it was no surprise that she chose a Cinderella one!

Make a wish!

New princess bike!
Now that is one happy birthday girl!

20 Questions

So how do you like the new blog look? Thanks to Kim over at Seven Thirty Three for giving my blog a new look and some color I'm LOVING it!

Yesterday my baby turned 3 years old (a little more on that later) so i decided to start a new tradition of 20 questions, which i will (hopefully) ask her every year on her birthday. It will be fun to see how the answers change each year. So here is the first year of questions, enjoy!

Quick Hair Clips

Over the weekend i decided it was time to tackle a fun little project to keep little miss Hailey's hair out of her face. Instead of headbands or ponytails why not mix it up and decorate some fun clips to help keep her hair in line.

So here is what i had fun making over over the weekend.

First i gathered all the scrapbook flowers i had - you don't have to use scrapbook flowers, i did because i had them lying  around.

I gathered clips of all sizes and colors and also a few bobby pins.

I ended up not need the felt I just used the glue gun to glue those pretty things to the clips and the rest is history!

Hopefully this will help put an end to the hair in the face problem!

Enjoy!
