Easter Craft For Kids

Fun little Easter craft.
Simple.
Cute.
I've seen it floating around pinterest and just had to try it out with Hailey.
She had so much fun with this one!
All you need:
Stripes of colored paper
Glue Stick
Cutout of an egg.

Glue the strip of paper and stick it on the egg.

So after you cover the egg with strips of pretty paper.
Go ahead and trim the extra  paper off around the egg.

Pretty little egg.

But why make one when you can make five or six?

I'm loving these little beauties!
And the cutie holding them ;)

That One Day It Snowed......

Last week we woke up one morning to a little snowstorm!
This is the first snow of the year we didn't get any during the winter....
which in my opinion is OK because i don't really like snow.
Anyways......
After it let up we ventured outside to enjoy the snow before it melted
and around here it melts fast!

Hailey couldn't get out in the snow quick enough
we had fun making a mini snowman
have a snowball fight
and making tracks in the snow with our boots!

The little man liked it but didn't have snow boots so he couldn't do much walking in it.

Hard to believe that by 5pm ALL the snow had melted the sun was out the sky was blue and you would have NEVER guessed it had snowed that day!

Oh What Do You Do On a Rainy Day?

Here's a few things we've done lately to keep busy inside!

How about a little 'Hide and Seek'

Painting!
watercolors never fail!
I was asking her what her pictures were as she finished them.
For the record.....
Her words.
Not mine.
But that's one happy giant!

DIY Mosaics

Hi!
I thought I'd share a really quick kids craft i did with Hailey recently.
Mosaics!
Who loves these as much as me?
It's been a long time since i did one!
But it saved me on a particularly rainy day!
I started by drawing a shamrock on paper......well at least i thought it was a shamrock........
What i thought was a shamrock until i looked it up after we had already finished....lol
But what the heck I'll take a 4 leaf clover any day!
I grabbed a glue stick and scissors
and
some green scrapbook paper

After Hailey and I cut a lot a little pieces out of the green scrapbook paper.....

She/we got to gluing
And gluing and gluing and gluing....
Until we had a masterpiece ;)
Love how it turned out!
And I'm sure we'll be doing mosaics again very soon!
