ABC's

Lately we have been doing a lot of learning. And to further help Hailey with learning her ABC's   (uppercase and lowercase) I came across this fun puzzle and it has been a great in helping her learn.
If you'd like to make one  HERE is where i got it from!

First i printed out all the letters

And then put contact paper over them to make last longer.

Cut on the diagonal line

Stick a magnet on the back.

And wa-la!

You got a fun letter learning game!

Yay!

Minnie Mouse Miracle

This year when i asked Hailey what she wanted to be for Halloween she said Minnie Mouse. No  hesitation. Wow i felt like i should have known that!


The Minnie Mouse ears are thrifted. I made the red bow. We will be adding black tights and shoes to the outfit as well.

The skirt is just a simple gathered skirt

 made with probably 10ish yards of tulle.

And worth every yard!

Look how cute and poufy it turned out!

The top i made up my own pattern.

I was a little nervous.

But how else am i going to learn?

Let's just say this is her new favorite dress to wear

Every.

Single.

Day.

And I Love it!

Oh and it's great for dancing and twirling in.

That's a must when mommy's making it!

Cinderella Surprise

After getting all our stuff out of storage a month ago i was really happy to find the Cinderella dress i made Hailey last year for Halloween You can check it out  HERE




I was even more happy when it still fit her!

Well ok maybe she was more happy about it!

she looks so much older! She has just as much fun wearing it now as she did last year.

Aside from the princess slippers not fitting she settled for hello kitty shoes for now!

I can't wait to share more costumes I've made for her!
What are you kids going to be for Halloween? As much as we love Cinderella i think we are going to be doing  Rapunzel or Minnie Mouse  this year!

Fall Colors

It's October! Where has the time gone?! Big WECOME to any new followers to my blog!!
I can't believe my blog is a year old and i have  500 Followers!! What in the world?! I'm thinking i need to do a Giveaway! What do you all think?


Life has been so crazy this last month!  but is now starting to slow down as we get into the swing of new daily routines. Big Changes have been 1)Going back to work (more on that in another post) 2)Moving moving .....well that just sucks the life out of you!

Anyways i just wanted to share some amazing fall colors with you!

And of course little Hailey loves the leaves

every time we go on a walk she collects a lot of them!

Another thing i love about  Fall costume season is in full swing!


Also means a lot of killer deals on fabric. And i have been totally whipping out costumes 'dress up clothes' like a mad woman!
