Simple Sweet Wreath

Everybody ready for another fun craft? I like to call this  'The Cotton Candy Wreath" I just love this soft color of pink! So who wants to make this beauty?

Here's what i used: Glue Gun Scissors Foam Wreath Tissue Paper Small Paintbrush (not pictured)

First i cut out a bunch of 5"x5" squares of tissue paper

Next i took one of the squares i just cut out and  pinched the middle of it

Then I twisted it

Next i took the end of my small paintbrush and poked a hole in the foam wreath about 1/2"  (you don't have to use a paintbrush it's just what i had around)

Then i put some hot glue in the hole and stuck the twisted end of my tissue paper into the hole.

I also used the end of my paintbrush to help push it into the hole.

Then I repeated the whole process again

1.Poke Hole

2.Put glue in hole

3 Stick in tissue paper

Easy right?

And see how beautiful it looks!! Just another little piece of my Valentine's Day Mantel!

DIY Valentine Art

So has anyone started decorating for Valentines Day? I got a head start this year by making this 3D Art for my mantel. I've always wanted to make some type of 3D art(after seeing all the cool ideas out there!)  but for some reason  i never made time for it -which is shocking seeing how Easy it is! And thanks to Michael's and there amazing sales, on everything i needed it was fairly cheap to make too!

Here's what i used: Canvas Heart Punch Foam adhesive stickers Paint chip samples (as you can tell those were not the colors i used)

First i punched out some hearts

Then i stuck a foam sticker on the back of the heart and placed it on the canvas.

Easy right?

And there you got it! So that was easy right?

(I have to say the picture doesn't do it justice!) What Valentine decorations have you made?

Wow it's been awhile!  Welcome to all my new followers!! Now that the holidays are over (and what a holiday it was!)  I'm going to try and start posting a lot more! I thought I'd start with a real quick recipe that i found on Pinterest  I LOVE this recipe it's simple but is such a good combination of veggies! It's become a once a week meal in our house! Well that is until i get tired of eating it!
