I think we've all seen the painted vases somewhere on the Internet.
I decided it was time to give it a try.
A little something pink for my valentine's day mantel.
And yes, it is as easy as it looks!
I used a vase
and Pink paint
All I did was squeeze some paint into the vase and watch it make its way down.
It was pretty slow but entertaining at the same time
After i had gotten paint on every spot i turned it upside down for a couple minutes and let the extra paint drip down.
Then I just turned it right side up and had some very pretty vases!
Have you ever painted vases before?
can you put water in these vases or are they just for decoration? I have a vase I could do this with but am nervous to try , afraid it will just look streaky. Did you use the whole bottle of paint?

ReplyDeleteI never would have thought of this. I have so many of these little clear vases and this would really make them more usable as a decorative accent. TFS.
