Ok moving on... i was so excited to make these straps for my daughters car seat straps since the ones that came with her car seat have been MIA since day 1. I will admit that these were so simple and easy i could of just made them all day....i love simple easy projects like that. maybe i'll need to put some in my etsy shop!
Before i start i want to apologize for the
Anyhow...here's the how-to-do
Supplies
Cotton Fabric(make sure to pre-wash fabric)
Minky
High loft batting(or any kind of batting)
Sewing Machine
Scissors
Sew on Velcro
First i cute out my fabric and batting squares 6inches by 6 inches, two of each one
Next layer them as shown batting-minky right side up-cotton fabric right side down on top of the minky
Pin together -Important tip when you sew this i found it easiest to sew with the batting side facing up.
You will want to sew starting at about halfway down one side sew around all 3 edges when you get back up to the top make sure you leave an opening so that you can turn it right side out.
Here's the little opening i left to turn it right side out ,before you turn it make sure to trim the corners so you have a more finished look when you turn it right side out.
Once you turned, iron - making sure to turn under the opening .
Then topstich around the entire thing.
Next cut out velcro 1.5inches long and sew on underneath the topstich
And ta-da!! there amazing!
If you want to have rounded edges like the ones on the right i just used a cup to round the edges super simple
Reversible is the best!
Enjoy!
Love how it turned out! Thanks so much for linking up with us at Show & Share!
